The
typical day at Camp Curtain Call is divided into six activity periods
customized to each individual camper’s interests.
Three
of these periods are for "HEADLINER" activities. At the beginning of each three-week session, each camper will
choose three "HEADLINER" activities.
That camper will attend these same activities throughout the
session to receive in depth instruction in the chosen program areas.
The
other three periods each day are for "FEATURE" activities.
Every
evening, each camper will choose three “FEATURE” activities for the
next day. These activities can change from day to day and
allow campers a chance to challenge themselves with something new or to
enjoy a relaxing hike, swim or lawn game.
Examples
of “HEADLINER” activities include play or band rehearsal, tennis
lessons and woodworking. A camper’s “FEATURE” activities for one day might be
hiking, swimming and close-up magic.
The next day, that same camper might choose painting, swing dancing
and leatherwork to be her "FEATURE" activities. Each camper
customizes his or her own day. The
possibilities for an exciting summer are endless!
