Camp Curtain Call, every camper who wants to take part in producing a
play or musical is given that opportunity. Generally, every
camper who auditions for a musical is guaranteed a spot in the cast.
Obviously, no such guarantee is possible for the plays since plays
have no chorus! However, all campers are given the opportunity
to have fun "behind the scenes" building sets in the scene shop, or
helping with costuming, lighting, sound, props, make-up, etc.
The shows will be performed the final two days
of each session. While we delay choosing the plays until just
before each session begins, we choose the musicals well in advance.
Several plays are being considered for the Theatre Intensive and the
possibility of writing an original show to have our FIFTH World
Premier at Camp Curtain Call is also a possibility. Here is the proposed slate of musicals for Summer 2010. Note,
these shows are subject to change.
